Projects
Every PECA Foundation project is built on inclusion, community participation, and measurable outcomes.
We prioritise solutions that are practical, scalable, and sustainable ensuring communities can maintain impact beyond the project cycle.
Afforestation and Forest Landscape Restoration
Design and implement large-scale afforestation and reforestation interventions targeting degraded forest reserves and community lands, with an emphasis on native species restoration, biodiversity conservation, and carbon sequestration.
Implementation should leverage community-based forest management models, school-led greening initiatives, and public–private partnerships.
GOAL : $ 1340
Climate-Smart and Sustainable Agriculture Program
Promote the adoption of climate-resilient agricultural practices, including agroforestry systems, conservation agriculture, crop diversification, and improved soil and water management.
Interventions should focus on farmer capacity building, extension service strengthening, and reducing dependency on synthetic inputs while enhancing productivity and resilience.
GOAL : $ 1550
Renewable Energy Deployment and Energy Access
Scale up decentralized renewable energy solutions, particularly solar and wind, to improve energy access and reduce reliance on fossil fuels.
Priority actions include supporting off-grid and mini-grid systems in underserved rural communities, incentivizing private-sector investment, and strengthening local technical capacity for renewable energy deployment and maintenance.
GOAL : $ 1100
Integrated Water Resource Management
Implement adaptive water management strategies to address climate-induced water stress, flooding, and drought.
This includes rainwater harvesting, climate-resilient irrigation systems, watershed protection, and wetland restoration to enhance water security and ecosystem services.
GOAL : $ 1340
Climate Awareness, Education, and Behavior Change
Develop structured public education and risk communication programmes to improve climate literacy and promote sustainable practices at community and institutional levels.
Approaches should integrate community dialogues, targeted trainings, and digital platforms to support informed participation in climate action.
GOAL : $ 1550
Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Resilience
Strengthen community and institutional resilience to climate-related shocks through improved early warning systems, climate risk assessments, preparedness planning, and resilient infrastructure investments aligned with national disaster management frameworks.
GOAL : $ 1100
Climate Finance Mobilization and Investment Readiness
Strengthen access to climate finance by supporting project preparation, investment structuring, and alignment with international climate funding mechanisms.
This includes engagement with development finance institutions, private investors, and multilateral climate funds to support mitigation and adaptation projects.
GOAL : $ 1340
Sustainable Urban Development and Green Infrastructure
Advance climate-responsive urban planning through the integration of green spaces, energy- efficient building standards, low-emission transport systems, and nature-based solutions to reduce urban heat stress and environmental pollution.
GOAL : $ 1550
Sustainable Waste Management and Circular Economy Initiatives
Support waste reduction, recycling, and resource recovery systems to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and environmental degradation.
Priority areas include urban waste segregation, recycling value chains, organic waste composting, and methane reduction from landfills.
GOAL : $ 1100
